Bitcoin through the lense of multidimensionality

We often hear bitcoiners describe bitcoin as a way out of the matrix.
But what if the matrix is not outside of us, not something we escape from?
What if it lies within us?
If that were true, it would suggest that we create our reality and are far more powerful than we may believe. Any small story we tell about ourselves would be more like a commentary on a small section of a prism rather than a complete or expansive perception of its full spectrum.
Suppose that a segment of 3D reality operates like a narrow frequency band within which distorted images are projected onto the surface of a mirror – illusions of a kind. If we are capable of seeing through those distortions, then we cannot be limited by or confined to them. We must be operating from a wider bandwidth with a multidimensional lense and awareness that is not bound by any surface projection.
The “hall of mirrors” begins to lose its authority the moment we recognise it as a mirror that projects distorted or partial images onto a one-dimensional surface. Clear perception constitutes an alignment with and a capacity to hold a multidimensional view of self, other and reality all at once.
If the matrix is within us, then so is our power to reshape it. The potential to materialise a more coherent and positive future would not come from outside systems, but from the force of our own nature that is the truth of who we are and along with this, a capacity for epic undertakings.
When we sit in stillness we can hear the signal and find that
place deep inside us that knows this to be true.
We are multidimensional.
And the matrix is inside us – not the other way around.
Keanu might have misled us.

The cyberpunk ethos and culture imbue strength, power and integrity that is held in a field of potential and creative force as a form of self-expression in its unique unfoldment:
as developer
as educator
as visionary
as collaborator for positive change
as facilitator
as generator of energy and charge
as potentiator
as the grandchild who sets up a wallet for their grandparent (… in BIP-85 style… just in case)
as the one who holds a deep desire to express themselves fully in freedom
as that someone who inspires and encourages, quietly in the background or loudly also
as that person who you get to play with in the sandpit of possibility
… as cyberpunk
The list of heroes and their creations is unlimited.

Yet we need not limit our perception of ourself as a cyberpunk or any other partial identity that we may be attached to.
We are multidimensional beings that cannot be bound by or limited to a cryptographic algorithm, signature or hashtag or any other one-dimensional notion of selfhood.
How do you plan to channel this enormous force of nature that is you?

The base layer of the bitcoin ecosystem is not bitcoin. The base layer of the bitcoin ecosystem is the currency of care.
Were this not to be the case, then bitcoin might never have been dreamt into being. In a movement towards greater alignment both individually and collectively, that genesis moment of Satoshi’s creation (no religious connotations intended) materialised from a desire for the betterment of humanity and a means for doing so. Is that not founded on the very notion of a currency of care?
The Butterfly Effect together with Sheldrake’s thesis of morphic fields and resonance remind us of our interconnectedness; and Satoshi’s creation is the origin point that has enabled a cascade of interacting, coherent fields so that we can interact with each other in freedom and integrity.
Bitcoin becomes more than just about fixing the money then, though that is certainly an inherent quality of its sound foundation.
Who and what do you deeply care about and how will you nourish these bonds that you hold so dearly?

Bitcoin is an ecosystem that is embedded in a relational context. Its base layer can be thought of as each block connected by a bond of affection that weaves the threads linking contributor and participant alike. The next layer up is the ethos of value 4 value, where seeing and honouring another’s beingness by way of their creative force and work, is matched by a voluntary exchange of value that is of our choosing. The value you see reflects your perception within a spectrum ranging from limitation through to limitlessness of self and other in all dimensions of reality.
Do you see a one-dimensional image on the surface of the mirror?
Or not unlike the matrix that lies within you, can you see the mirror within a vast field of your own multidimensional perception and reality?

We are inherently free, prior to any manmade law of unsound foundation.
In his ‘A Cypherpunk’s Manifesto,’ Eric Hughes’ writes that “Privacy is the power to selectively reveal oneself to the world.”1 In this paper, and with razor sharp precision, he brings to light the inherent qualities that make privacy fundamental to choosing in freedom within the transactional realm.
Any and all attempts to limit human freedoms reflects a distortion within a system in which distortions already exist. Where there are distortions in 3D so-called reality, it is our true nature that responds to a deep calling to set in motion the mechanism that can bring about coherence in our individual and collective fields of multidimensionality.
There lies a self-correcting, phase coherent mechanism for aligning to the truth of who we are. And this alignment, this integrity, is the driving force behind dreaming into being a new reality for ourselves and humanity as a whole.
It is our nature force that dreamt bitcoin into material existence in this reality.
Any and all intent that does not reflect our true nature is evident of misaligned and incoherent forces within or without.

A transactional exchange within the bitcoin ecosystem is not just about privacy, nor mathematical algorithms, formulas, or cryptography, though all critical and foundational elements. It could also be considered a transmission that lubricates an interface of layers of creation, seeing, witnessing, honouring, protecting, and dreaming of what is possible.
And the quantum-physical conception of possibility necessitates a multidimensional model of both consciousness and reality.

Can the bitcoin protocol be a coherent system of renewal that flows through the fabric of reality? Which by design, also holds the potential for our human capacity to align and connect with an underlying universal current that flows through all dimensions of reality?
Through the lense of Bohm’s implicate order thesis, we are already at the doorway where our genius can spontaneously take form and where our self-expression can begin to penetrate all layers of reality. All that is required is precise, aligned action and its unfoldment in order to perceive what is already there beneath the surface of our 3D reality.
Summary
The bitcoin ecosystem contains a latent potential comparable to a field of possibilities whose expression is dependent on the dynamics of participant interaction in the network. Founded on the currency of care, aligned participation acts as a catalyst that allows potential to manifest into coherent collective activity.
This relationship can be summarised as

This formulation is analogous to Kuramoto’s mathematical model of synchronisation where oscillators with different natural frequencies become phase aligned when the coupling between them increases. Coupling strength in human networks constitutes the quality of relationships and interactions amongst participants whose manifest expression takes the form of a coordinated, collective reality and an evolutionary resilience of an ecosystem comparable to bitcoin.
Conclusion
In the same way that an orchestra produces harmony when musicians play in synchronised unity, the bitcoin ecosystem strengthens in its coherence and vitality when it is founded on a relational currency characterised by care, integrity, responsibility and a shared vision for creating a positive future for humanity and the generations to come.
Like musical notation, each of us has a unique frequency and fingerprint, and in togetherness we make up the music of the spheres, the musica universalis. In collaborative alignment, we hold the possibility for creating ethereal harmony in the celestial spheres through our inherent multidimensionality that threads through all dimensions of reality.
The Pythagoreans invite us to dream into being a resonant ecosystem of beauty and strength comparable to the vibration of the celestial spheres – allowing for the full expression of our collective genius. Our relational currency of care that forms the foundation upon which our human network is built upon, each block connected by a bond of affection, can further grow and flourish. The orchestra and audience can come together and create a collective harmonic rhythm and resonance that offers genuine uplifting and power to the people.

I mean, I think all of existence is made up of math, except for maybe love itself, which may be a result of “playing in the sandpit of possibility” (cypherpunk or not), or sourced in the Great Thinker/Experiencer itself and sent out to all of us like the Olympic flame.

I’ve often wondered about the relationship between love and pure mathematics. And the purity of love, also. Where are all the spaces where we can talk about these kinds of things? Do you think we need more space holders and sandpits? Cross-pollinators???
In proposing that the base layer of bitcoin is made up of bonds of affection (which are essentially bonds of love), we start to think about ways to nurture them. And I very much like your Olympic flame analogy, fatsatschick, because as you rightly point out, these ideas apply to all human networks and relationships, not just the bitcoin ecosystem.
When mathematics can cradle the expression of a creative force powered by the love that we are – that’s when it holds real potential for even greater potency. I think that the harmonic resonance that Jacob Collier creates in all his collaborative, musical productions is next level. Physics as well as life experience point to our inherent capacity for intentionally infusing a harmonic frequency into any environment of our choosing. And I closed the blog with one of Jacob’s collaborative projects because his resonant frequency is astonishing and something we can all aspire to if this is something we deeply want and value.

Lovely to hear from you again. Your communication infuses the sandpit of possibility with authentic connection. Happy birthday to your precious daughter. Doesn’t it remind you to pause and acknowledge ‘a perfect moment in a life’ when you look at her joyful face as she blows out the birthday candles on her cake? And when you see her light up as family and friends come together and gather to celebrate the dazzling radiance that she is? You are the custodian of this bundle of love. This is the essence of life itself, that love – that bond of affection. I mean, who needs paperwork when we get to do this kind of stuff in the sandpit?? (I do think we all have too much paperwork but feel free to insert anything else in there, like hard labour or waking up to an alarm clock set at a ridiculous time in order to get to work at an equally ridiculous time.)
Last week I bought my precious 9-year old a friendship bracelet pair. It was part of a collection of birthday gifts because 9 year olds definitely need more than one birthday gift … or perhaps more accurately, I couldn’t stop at a singular birthday gift. (In my defence, I was in the fairy shop and this luminous, radiant being of light 🧡 fairies so who could blame me.) A colourful array of threads of pinks, yellows and oranges with knots hold the bracelet together. She can choose who she would like to give the matching bracelet to. And the two of them will remain connected by a bond of affection, care, love and friendship, these qualities all intersecting like a perfect, beautiful Venn diagram.
What arises within us when we reflect on these perfect moments in a life holds potential for leaving an imprint that echoes through the sandpit of possibility – through the base layer of a human network in our shared humanity.
